The world is shifting beneath our feet and organizations of all stripes and sizes are waking up to the fact that building cultures of true diversity, equity inclusion, and justice is essential.

It’s essential to our business;
To the people within our organization;
To the lives of all those who are touched by the work we do;
And it’s essential to the planet.

As we take stock of where we are, and where we need to go, we (as organizational leaders) know that it takes a meaningful commitment of resources to bring a new vision to fruition. 

Those charged with finding a path and leading the way know it takes a village.
It takes a commitment from senior leadership to allocate the required resources.
It takes early adopters, ready to take a risk and challenge the status quo.
It takes the skeptics who ask tough questions and push us to clearly articulate both the “why” and the “how” of what we want to achieve.

Sometimes the enormity of the task can feel daunting, so it also takes external partners who have skills, expertise, and capacity to help guide the process and fill the gaps.
